Namrib Iliana Tanzanite 13c2 (Billy)

Billy is also owned by Betty's owner and has been loyally shown both in this country and abroad. His titles are Regional Winner and Supreme Grand Champion and is expected to achieve Best Birman Adult in the world for the 2010/11 season.

I thank the owner of Betty and Billy for showing these Namrib cats so well and for loving them as much as I did.
A Gr Ch Namrib Ghost kitten - Amisti Alabama was one of a litter of a litter of 8 kittens that all survived - a remarkable achievement. He is a Lilac Tabby and doing very well on the show bench in TICA and GCCF.

Another Gr Ch Namrib Ghost son is Gr Ch Nicadaemus Romany Magic 13c3 - Raasay to his friends. Raasay was unbeaten as a kitten on the show bench winning Top Blue Point Kitten in 3 Birman clubs in 2008. He went on to be awarded -

- 3 Imperial Certificates with 2 Reserves
- 6 Grand Challenge Certificates with 2 Reserves
- 5 Challenge Certificates
- 3 BEST IN SHOW awards

Namrib Cuckoo In The Nest 13c3 (Cookie)

This little girl was born a week early and the only survivor of the litter. I had to tube feed her every hour for the first 48 hours before she started to take from a bottle. My other Birman girl gave birth 6 days later and Cookie was now stronger and sucking much stronger, so I put her in with the younger litter, hence her name. Luckily it worked and she was reared successfully. Her own mother had shown no interest in her as she had no milk.

It was all so worth while as she blossomed and went to a show where she won her Open and did very well in the side classes. She is off to California in May 2011 and we hope she continues with her show career and as a mother in the future.

Cookie was also shown at a TICA show with 6 rings of International judges. We are delighted to report she made all 6 Finals - getting 2 x Best Kitten, 2 x 2nd Best Kitten, and a 4th = 5th Best Kittens in the last two rings. An American judge spoke to me after judging and said she was very impressed with her quality - better than in America.

Cookie's early days......

Cookie is now in American and seems to have travelled very well.  She didn't even dirty her carrier after nearly 16 hours!!!!  She has already settled in well and we will be watching her show career which starts on 21st/22nd of May. Good luck my baby.

Here is Cookie at the recent TICA show in USA did very well - 7 Finals out of 10.  She is doing us proud.
