It is with great pleasure that the club announces the first UK Imperial Grand Champions on the 17th November 2007.

She is the top TICA Singapura in the Northern Europe region, the 8th top Singapura internationally and 19th Best Shorthair in the Northern Europe Region.

First Male Imperial Grand Champion

On the 3rd March 2007, Imperial Grand Champion Valisa Bertie Bassett became the first Male Singapura to win the title at the Wessex Cat Club. This now makes two Imperial Champions for the breed.

Championship Status

27th October 2004 - The GCCF Council Meeting aproved Championship status for the Singapura breed to be effective from June 2005. This has been the culmination of dedication and hard work of all UK breeders and Club Committee and is the cause of much celebration. Well done and sincere thanks to everyone involved. The only sadness is that Tommy Meadows did not live long enough to see this triumph and it must be remembered that the Singapuras would not have attained this recognition without her.

GCCF Supreme Show 2002

Congratulations are in order for Mrs Larmour's Sarwillou Kyu Kyusu who was judged the Best Provisional Adult at the Supreme Show on 30th November.  This was the first opportunity for Singapuras to be in competition at the Supreme Show having only achieved Provisional Status in June,  so this high achievement is well worthy of note.  Kyusu was only beaten to the award of Best Provisional Breed by a Bengal.
